The death has occurred of
John Joe McCarthy
John Joe McCarthy, Ballycarrido, Newtown, Nenagh, September 27th 2023, peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff of Nenagh Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Martin and Nora, his brother Paul and his sisters Julia and Bridie. Deeply regretted by his siblings Nan (Kelly), Pat (Dartford, U.K.), Josie (Skerritt) (Ennistymon) and Maureen (Horrigan), he will be hugely missed and fondly remembered by his many adoring nieces, and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, cousins, relatives, neighbours, friends and his loyal companion Max.
Reposing on Thursday at his home from 4pm until 7pm. Funeral arriving on Friday to St. Mary's Church, Portroe, for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in Youghalarra Cemetery. John Joe's Funeral Mass can be viewed on https://www.youtube.com/c/portroeburgessyoughalparishes
