The death has occurred of
John Joe Murphy
Murphy (Derrygowna, Banteer) On October 27th 2020, peacefully at Cork University Hospital, John Joe, beloved husband of Síle (nee MacSweeney), dear father of Eilís (Lavan), Colm, Bríd, Nollaig (O Keeffe), the late Aingeal and brother of the late Evelyn (O Connor). Deeply regretted by his loving wife, family, grandchildren, sons-in-law Mike and Hugh, daughter-in-law Cathríona, nephew Gerard, niece Cáit, brothers-in-law, relatives, neighbours and friends.
In accordance with current HSE and government guidelines, a private family Funeral Mass will be held for John Joe in St John's Church Glantane on Thursday with burial afterwards in St John's Cemetery.
