John Joe O'Brien

On 21st December 2025, peacefully in the loving care of the staff at Bantry General Hospital, John Joe, dearly beloved son of the late Jerh and Kitty O'Brien, Gurranes South, and dearly beloved brother of the late Vincie.

Sadly missed by his much loved brothers and sisters, Philly, Pat, Diarmuid (Derry), Mary and Martin, brother-in-law Tom, sisters-in-law Anne, Kitty and Teresa, and the late Dan O'Donoghue and Mary O'Brien. Lovingly remembered by his adoring nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, cousins, kind neighbours, and a large circle of friends.

Lying in repose at Daly's Funeral Home, Chapel Street, Drimoleague on Tuesday, December 23rd, with visitation from 6pm to 7.30pm, followed by prayers. Requiem Mass on Wednesday, December 24th at 2pm in All Saints Church, Drimoleague - livestreamed on https://www.churchservices.tv/drimoleague Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
