The death has occurred of
John Joe O'Brien
John Joe O’Brien, (Longford West, Oola, Co. Limerick and formerly of Marlhill, Ardfinnan), retired psychiatric nurse, St. Joseph’s Hospital, Limerick, March 19th 2025, peacefully at University Hospital Limerick. Sadly missed by his loving wife Sheila, sons Pádraig and Shane, daughters-in-law Claire and Karen, grandchildren Deirdre, Gráinne, Odhran, Ceoladh and Oisín (affectionally known to them as Ta), aunt Ann, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Rest in peace.
Reposing at his residence (E34 C786) Friday evening from 5 pm until 7.30 pm. Arriving in St. Nicholas’ Church, Solohead Saturday morning for Requiem Mass at 11.30 am with burial afterwards in Doon Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to the Irish Cancer Society. If you wish to leave a message of sympathy for the family you may do so in the Condolence Section below.
