John Joe O'Connell

O’Connell (Mitchelstown, Glenroe and Kildorrery) On December 1st, 2024, peacefully in the loving care of the staff at Abbeylands Nursing Home, Kildorrery, JOHN JOE, Wellview, Mulberry, Mitchelstown and formerly of Tully, Glenroe and Kilclooney, Kildorrery. Predeceased by his wife Sheila, son Michael and sisters Mary and Bridie.

Sadly missed by his son Seamus, daughters Liz, Ann and Aileen, sisters Hannah (Broderick) and Nellie (Fitzgerald), brother Ned (Eddie), sister-in-law Nellie Coffey, daughter-in-law Sheila, sons-in law Matty and Anthony.

John Joe will be forever loved by his adored grandchildren Emma, Louise, Sean, Michael, Orla, Lorna and Cian, nephews, nieces, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at the Chapel of Rest, Baldwin Street, Mitchelstown, P67 DX81, on Wednesday (4th December) from 5 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. Reception into Our Lady of Ransom Church, Spittle, Glenroe, V35 XN35, for Requiem Mass on Thursday (5th December) at 11 a.m. Burial afterwards in the Church Grounds.
