John Joe Rabbitte

The death has occurred of John Joe Rabbitte of Dalystown Demesne, Kylebrack, Loughrea. John Joe died peacefully on the 28th December in the care of the wonderful staff of St Teresa's Ward, University College Hospital, Galway.

Predeceased by his parents Margaret (nee Walsh) and Michael, sister Anna Marie, aunts and uncle, cousin Sarah Keane O'Hora and extended cousins.

Deeply missed by his beloved cousins Mary Anne Keane Madden, Kathleen Keane Slattery (Boston), Pat Joe Keane and Bridie Keane Brennan (Boston), his extended family; heart broken cousins Siobhán and Margaret, daughters of Mary Anne; very loyal neighbours and friends; and his wider communities over the years.

Reposing this Friday evening at St Ignatius Funeral Home, Duniry from 5pm to 7pm. Private removal afterwards to John Joe's home at Dalystown Demesne, Kylebrack.

Burial on Saturday 1st January at Leitrim New Cemetery at 1.15pm. Please adhere to all current HSE Covid 19 guidelines.

The family would like to thank John Joe's great neighbours, carers and medical teams for all they have done for him, particularly through his illness in recent times.

Ní bheidh a leithéid arís ann.

We won't see the likes of him again.
