The death has occurred of John Joe Slattery Peacefully surrounded by his family in the excellent care of the matron and staff at Ashlawn Nursing home Carrigatoher on April 7th 2026. Predeceased by his beloved Wife Bernadette and their infant daughter. His sisters Nora and Lena and brother Jimmy.

He will be sadly missed by his loving family Una, Kieran and Sabrina. Cherished grandchildren Aoife, Aisling, Cara, Emer, Grainne, Emma and Hazel. Sister Teresa (Sexton), daughter-in-law Louise, son-in-law Michael, sister-in-law Margaret, nieces and nephews, cousins, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.

May His gentle soul Rest In Peace.

Reposing at Ryan’s Funeral Home, Nenagh (E45 KN93) Thursday 9th April, from 5pm to 7 pm. His remains will arrive to St. Marys of the Rosary Church Nenagh on Friday for Requiem Mass at 11am, followed by burial in Youghalarra Graveyard.
