John Joe Walsh

The death has occurred of John Joe Walsh, Kinlough, Headford, Co Galway and formerly of Millpark, Claran, Headford, on Sunday 9th January 2022, peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family.  Predeceased by his parents John and Bridie, his sisters Nora O’Connell (Killernan), Bríd Egan (Cross) and brothers Patsy (Claran), Tom (Cookstown, Tyrone) and Martin (Connecticut, USA).  He will be deeply missed by his heartbroken and devoted wife Patsy (née Gibsey) and daughter Maryann, son-in-law Colm, his sister Maura O’Connell (Connecticut), brothers Jim (Dublin) and Frank (Surrey), sisters-in law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and wide circle of friends.

 May his Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Reposing in Ryder's Funeral Home, Headford, on Tuesday, 11th January, from 6.00pm to 8.00pm. Requiem Mass will be held in St. Joseph’s Church, Shrule, on Wednesday, 12th January, at 12.00pm with burial afterwards in Shrule Cemetery.

The Funeral Mass will be live streamed on Shrule Parish Facebook Page and can be listened to on Parish Radio 101.4 F.M. and also streamed on https://www.churchtv.ie/
