The death has occurred of
John Joe Whelan
John Joe Whelan, Knockaheem, Leamlara, on November 25th 2023.
Peacefully surrounded by his loving family after a short illness at Marymount Hospital and Hospice Cork.
John Joe (late of Cork City Council) much loved son of Mary and the late William. Dear brother of Michael, Liam, Paul and Declan. Dear uncle of Caoimhe, Bill, Laura, Seán, Ruth, Alan, James and Julie.
Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his mum, brothers, sisters in law Margaret, Aileen, Antoinette and Maria. His aunt Sr. Claire Whelan and uncle Oliver Hallahan, nephews, nieces, cousins and a large circle of friends.

John Joe will repose in O’Farrell’s Funeral Home, Riverside Way Midleton, on Tuesday 28th from 5:30pm to 7pm,
followed by removal to St. John the Baptist Church, Lisgoold.
Funeral Mass on Wednesday 29th at 1.30pm, after which John Joe will be taken to The Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy.
