John (John Joe) KEAVENEY

The death has occurred of John Keaveney (John-Joe) Drumcliffe South, Co. Sligo, F91XE06, October 19th 2023, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family and in the tender care of the devoted staff at North West Hospice, Sligo. Pre-deceased by his parent John-Joe and Lavina and his nephew Eamonn. John will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Geraldine (née Guihen) daughter Karen, sons Ken and Jason, sisters Peggy Mc Girl and Kathleen Keating, brother Eamonn, grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, his many friends, neighbours and his former colleagues in An Garda Síochána.

May John’s gentle soul rest in peace

Reposing at his home on Saturday evening (October 21st) from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Sunday evening (October 22nd) from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Removal to St. Colmcille’s Church, Rathcormack F91YO68, on Monday morning, arriving for celebration of Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in Rathcormack Cemetery.

House private please, on Monday morning.
