John (Johnny) Callaghan
John (Johnny) Callaghan, Trumera, Mountrath, Co. Laois. Died 18th October 2023, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents John and Mary Ann. Deeply regretted by his devoted wife Peg, sons Séan, Fintan, Michael, Declan and Patrick, daughters Mary, Margaret, Breda, Martina and Linda, 24 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren,sons and daughters in-law, brother-in-law Mick Farrell, sister-in-law Bridie Masterson, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.
May Johnny Rest In Peace
Reposing at Burke’s Funeral Home, Mountrath on Thursday (October 19th) from 5 o’clock, concluding with Rosary at 9 o’clock. Removal on Friday (October 20th) to St. Fintan’s Church, Mountrath, for Requiem Mass at 10 o’clock, followed by burial in St. Fintan’s Cemetery Raheen.
Johnny’s Requiem Mass will be live streamed on www.mountrathparish.ie
Donations if desired to the Irish Cancer Society.
