Formerly of Ballycloughan. Johnny died peacefully, at home in the care of his family on 14th September 2023. Predeceased by his parents John and Elizabeth, brothers Gerard and Jimmy and baby sister Kathleen.
Johnny will be forever missed by his heartbroken family, wife Margaret, sons Bernard, David, Noel and John-Paul, daughters Deirdre, Melissa, Elizabeth and Olivia, brothers Barney, Brendan, Tom, Joe and Billy, sister Anne, son-in-law William, daughter-in-law Emma, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, his adored (17) grandchildren and (4) great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Connell's Funeral Home, Church St, Longford, N39 KN66, on Saturday 16th from 4.30pm concluding with prayers at 6pm. Funeral cortege will leave from his home on Sunday 17th at 12.15pm to arrive to St. Anne's Church, Ballycloughan, for Funeral Mass at 1pm. Following Mass Johnny will be laid to rest in Moydow Cemetery.
Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to Longford Palliative Care Team, c/o Connell Funeral Directors or any family member.
Johnny's family would like to thank the Palliative Care Team, The Oncology Team in Tullamore Hospital, Dr. Kevin Flanagan and the nurses, and all who helped and supported them during his illness.
