The death has occurred of
John (Johnny) Doonan
Doonan (Leixlip, Co. Kildare and formerly of Palmerstown, Dublin 20 and Fenagh, Co. Leitrim) January 31st., 2026 (peacefully) surrounded by his family, in the loving care of the staff at Mount Pleasant Nursing Home, Kilcock, John (Johnny), beloved husband of the late Beryl and much-loved father of Ann-Marie, Louise and John and a cherished grandfather of Anthony, Elizabeth, Megan and Emma; sadly missed by his loving family, son-in-law Michael, sister-in-law Nancy, niece Amanda, nephews Declan and Paul, relatives and friends.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Celbridge on Tuesday evening (February 3rd) between 6pm and 8pm. Removal on Wednesday morning (February 4th) to the Church of Our Lady’s Nativity, Leixlip arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in Palmerstown Cemetery.
