The death has occurred of John (Johnny) Fitzgerald late of Greenhill Nursing Home and formerly 50 Treacy Pack, Carrick-on-Suir. Johnny passed away peacefully on the 4th February 2026 surrounded by his family. Pre-deceased by his parents and his brother Michael. Johnny will be sadly missed by his daughters Vicky, Sharon, Kelly and their mother Catherine Fitzgerald, brothers, sisters, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, grandchildren, Grace, Sarcha, Harry, Verity, Emily, Max, Walter, Honora, son-in-law Adam, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
May Johnny Rest In Peace
Johnny will be reposing at Walsh's Funeral Home, New Street, Carrick-on-Suir on Monday 9th February, from 5pm to 6pm. Johnny will be arriving at St Nicholas' Church on Tuesday the 10th February, for requiem mass on arrival at 10.30am followed by burial in St Mary's cemetery.
