John (Johnny) Foley

The death has occurred of John (Johnny) Foley, formerly of Clarehall, Dublin, and Edgeworthstown, Longford. He passed away peacefully, after a short illness, on 24th October 2024, surrounded by his loving family and in the wonderful care of the staff at St Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown.

Beloved son of the late John and Mary. Cherished father of Maria, Anthony, and Gary, and adored grandfather of Leo, Sadie, Jamie, Caoimhe, and Oliver. John will be deeply missed by his children, son-in-law David, daughter-in-law Natalie, grandchildren, brother Con, sisters Margaret, Anne, Theresa, and the late Catherine, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law the late Antoinette, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and neighbours.

Reposing at Jennings Funeral Home, Oscar Traynor Road, Coolock, D17FK58 on Monday afternoon October 28th from 2pm to 4pm. Removal on Tuesday morning to the Church of St Benedict’s, Grangepark arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by burial in Balgriffin Ext Cemetery.
