John (Johnny) GALLAGHER

Johnny Gallagher, Blacksmith and Farrier, An Teach Gabha, Monastery, Enniskerry, passed away peacefully, at home, on Saturday 29th October, 2022, with his family by his side. Beloved husband of the late Margaret, devoted and much loved father of Jackie, Louise, Joan and Una, father-in-law of Denis, Neil, Derek and the late Mark, adored “Grandad Johnny” of Aoife, Fionn, Daragh, Liam, Euan, Rory, Cathal, Tiernan, Brenna and Senan and loving brother of Rita. He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by his family, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and by his wide circle of friends and neighbours.

Reposing at his home (A98 YC97) on Monday (October 31) from 4.00pm to 7.00pm. Removal on Tuesday morning, walking from Troy’s Corner, Enniskerry Village, at 10.00am to St. Mary’s Church, Enniskerry, arriving for Funeral Mass at 10.15am followed by burial in Curtlestown Cemetery.
