John (Johnny) Hession

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of John (Johnny) Hession at his home, Station Road, Ballinasloe, Galway.

Predeceased by his loving parents, Tim and Mary, brothers and sisters, Joe (Chicago), Noel (Galway), Martin (New York), Lily (Florida), Kevin (Aughrim), Bernadette (Waterford), Maureen (Roscommon) and his granddaughter Emma (New Inn).

Johnny will be very sadly missed by his beloved wife Susan, sons Sean and Joe, daughter Mary (Egan), daughters-in-law Assumpta and Elaine, and son-in-law Tom, his adored grandchildren Alison, Mary, Deirdre, Johnathan, Lilly, Rachel and Conor. He will be greatly missed by his sisters-in-laws, brothers-in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins in Ireland, USA and UK, as well as his massive circle of relatives, neighbours and friends.

Johnny will repose at Grenham's Funeral Home, Ballinasloe (H53 HK15) on Wednesday the 14th of August, from 4pm to 7pm. Private removal on Thursday to St. Michael’s Church, Ballinasloe for Funeral Mass at 2pm, followed by burial in Creagh Cemetery. Johnny’s Funeral Mass can be viewed via the live stream on www.churchservices.tv/ballinasloe.
