John (Johnny) McHugh

The death has occurred of John (Johnny) McHugh, Kilbeg, Kilglass, Co. Roscommon.

Peacefully on the 2nd October 2025 in the tender care of the nurses and staff of Roscommon Hospice surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Maureen and sister-in-law Rose.

Deeply loved, sadly missed and always remembered by his loving wife Kathy, sisters Mary-Ellen McGuire(Frank) and Noreen Reynolds (Seamus) brothers Gerry(Diane) and Jimmy, sister-in-law Mary, nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at Leavy’s Funeral Home, Scramogue (F42 FD78) on Friday 3rd October from 6pm to 8pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church, Kilglass, on Saturday 4th October at 12noon, if you cannot attend the mass and wish to celebrate John's life, you can watch it here John’s funeral mass, followed by cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan, at 3pm.
