The death has occurred of
John (Johnny) O'Connor
O’CONNOR (Cork) On 21st August 2023, peacefully, in the presence of his loving family and in the tender care of the doctors, nurses and staff of Marymount University Hospital and Hospice, JOHN (JOHNNY), late of Seminary Road, Blackpool and Cork Corporation. Dearly beloved husband of Marie (nee Forde) and much loved father of John, Maura, Michael, Robert and Lillian.
Sadly missed by his heartbroken wife, sons, daughters, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends in Cork and New York.
Reposing at Coughlan’s Funeral Home, Shandon Street on Wednesday (23rd August) from 10.00am, family in attendance from 7.00pm with Rosary at 8.00pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday (24th August) at 11.30am in the Church of the Annunciation, Blackpool. If you wish to view the Mass, click on https://www.blackpoolparish.com and follow link. Funeral afterwards to St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Kilcully. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Marymount Hospice. House Private.
