The death has occurred of
John (Johnny) Willis
The death has taken place of John (Johnny) Willis, Monatrea East, Co. Waterford and formerly of Cork Road, Mallow, Co. Cork, who passed away peacefully on June 24th 2024 surrounded by his loving family. Adored first born son of Michael and Nora. Much loved brother of Mary (O'Brien), Ricky, Anne (Long), Michael, Paul and Rob, brothers-in-law P.J. and Ger, sisters-in-law Úna, Jackie, Mary and Josie, uncles, aunts, nephews and nieces.
John will be greatly missed by his Monatrea family and the many friends he had there.
May He Rest In Peace.
Lying in repose at O'Connell's Funeral Home, St. James' Avenue, Mallow (P51 HH61) on Wednesday (June 26th) from 5pm with Prayers at 6pm.
Requiem Mass on Thursday (June 27th)at 11.30am in the Church of the Resurrection, Mallow.
Funeral afterwards to St. Gobnait's Cemetery, Mallow.
As a family we would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to everyone that looked after John with such love and care during his time in St. Rapheals and Monatrea.
We will never forget the kindness everyone showed to John and to all of us as his family. Thank you also to the Palliative Care team who helped look after John in his last few weeks.
