John Joseph BURKE Air Commodore (Rtd)

BURKE John Joseph Air Commodore (Rtd) (Shrewsbury and formerly Belfast) 18th May 2024 peacefully at home after a long illness, with family around him, aged 94.

Deeply regretted by his loving family: wife Peggy; children Rosie, Sean, Maggie and Louise; sons in law Miquel and Tim; grandchildren Gemma, Anna, Megan, Tom, Ellie, Matt, Caitlin and John; sisters Kathleen and Ann; sister-in-law Patsy; nieces, nephews, other relatives, neighbours and friends. Predeceased by brothers Joseph (Josie), Patrick (Paddy), Thomas (Tom) and sisters Eileen and May.

May he rest in peace.

Requiem Mass at 12.15 on 13 June 2024 at Shrewsbury Cathedral followed by committal service at 2 o’clock in Emstrey Crematorium.
