John Joseph (Seán) Kavanagh

Kavanagh, Station Court, Gorey and formerly of Parkbaun, Inch, Co. Wexford 9th December 2025, peacefully at his home. John Joseph (Seán) dearly beloved father of Deirdra, Kieran and Sinéad, dearest brother of Brian, Brianan and the late Fred, loved and adored Poppa Seán of Sarah, Seán, Declan, Riley and Brenna, loved and respected father-in-law of David, Krystyna and Bradley. He will be sadly missed by his daughters, son, brother, sister, grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and his many cherished friends.

Seán's Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday (16th December) in St. Patrick’s Church, Castletown at 12.30pm, followed by private cremation service in Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross, Dublin.

“Dad was a devoted follower of the Catholic Church and an active member of the Legion of Mary.

Dad we can’t believe you have gone. We will cherish all of our wonderful memories with you; always in our hearts. May you Rest in Peace in the Arms of our Heavenly Father.”
