John (formerly of Joyce's Pharmacy) passed away peacefully in the presence of his loving wife and family in Marymount University Hospital and Hospice, Cork on Tuesday, September 10th, 2024.

 

Loving husband of Noel and much loved father of Tony, Ken and Maria (McSweeney), cherished grandfather to Clodagh, Keelin, Sam, John, Ella, Ali and Daire. Dear brother of Paddy (Sweden), the late Don and Myrl (O'Carroll).

 

Deeply regretted by his loving wife, family, son-in-law John, daughters-in-law Deirdre and Tamara, brother-in-law Aidan, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his residence on Navigation Road, Mallow (P51 KN9E) on Wednesday afternoon from 3:00pm to 7:00pm followed by Prayers.

 

Reception into St. Mary's Church, Mallow, on Thursday afternoon for Requiem Mass at 2:00pm, after which John will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery.

The family would like to give special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff in Marymount University Hospital and Hospice, Cork for their wonderful work and affection they showed to John during his time in their care.
