John Keenan

The death has occurred of John Keenan. Drumberagh, Laragh, Castleblayney. 17th March 2026. Unexpectedly at his home, surrounded by his cherished family.

Predeceased by his infant daughter Catherine, his parents Tommy & Margaret, his sister Concepta Keenan and his nephews Martin & Damien.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by his beloved family; his wife Mary and his daughters Angela (Noel Marron), Helen (Aidan McCooey), Maria (Peter Ward), Maggie (Jerry Brosnahan) & Lorraine (Kevin McCabe), his much-loved grandchildren; Tommy, Jessie, Connell, Daniel, Dylan, Cillian, Abbie, Oisín, Adele, Jack, Luke, Lucy & Caoimhín, his brother Lorcan and his sisters Catherine Verhoeven & Dympna Corrigan, his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, many friends & neighbours

John will repose at Lonergan Funeral Directors Funeral Home, Carrickmacross, A81 D328, on Friday, 20th March, from 2pm until 8pm.

John's funeral cortège will leave his home, Drumberagh, on Sunday, 22nd March, proceeding to St. Mary's Church, Lisdoonan, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery.
