John Kenney

Ex. Garda Síochána. Formerly of Barnacogue, Swinford, Co. Mayo. John passed peacefully in the wonderful care of The Holy Family Nursing Home, Killimor.

John is predeceased by his parents Pakie and Mary, his brothers Paddy and Michael and brothers-in-law Martin Jennings and Lawrence Barrett.

Dearly loved husband of Ann (nee Barrett). John will be sadly missed by his adored children Shane, Pearse, Aoife and Brian, his loving sister Margaret, daughters-in-law Claire, Michelle and Margaret and son-in-law Brian. Much loved Grandad to Patrick, Henry, Mina, Tom, Eden, Quinn, Aoibhín, Dáithí, Coilm, Ciara, Matthew and Hannah. Sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, his former work colleagues in An Garda Síochána and a wide circle of dear friends.

May His Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

John will repose at Grenhams Funeral Home, Ballinasloe (H53 HK15) on Tuesday the 11th of March, from 5pm to 7pm. Private removal on Wednesday to St. Michael’s Church, Ballinasloe for Funeral Mass at 12 noon, followed by burial in Kilclooney Cemetery. John’s Funeral Mass can be viewed online via www.churchservices.tv/ballinasloe.
