John Kilroy

In the presence of his family, the peaceful death has occurred of John Kilroy of Bennettsbridge, Co. Kilkenny and formerly of Green View Terrace, Callan, Co. Kilkenny, on Saturday, 24th May 2025.

 

Beloved husband of the late Teresa, and loving father of Deirdre, Eleanor, Miriam, Thomas and Lucy, who are broken hearted and will miss him terribly. Lovingly remembered by his sons-in-law Cian, Rob, Thomas and Sean. His adoring grandchildren Oscar, Tara, Ruadhan, Amber, Hugh and Grainne who will feel his absence greatly, as well as his beloved sisters, Bernie (Sr. Mercy), Philly, and Ursula, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

 

 

 

Predeceased by his sisters, Sr. Maureen and Josie (Sr. Perpetua) and brothers Michael, Paddy, Tommy and Fr. Brendan.

Reposing at his home in Bennettsbridge, (Eircode R95 E8XN), on Tuesday, 27th May from 3pm concluding with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 7pm.

 

Funeral arriving to St. Bennett’s Church, Bennettsbridge (Eircode R95 HC93) for Requiem Mass on Wednesday morning, 28th May at 11.30am.

 

Burial will follow afterwards in the adjoining churchyard.
