John Kinahan, Oaklawns, Athy, Co. Kildare passed away peacefully on Friday 28th July, 2023, in the wonderful care of the staff of the Beacon Hospital. Pre deceased by his parents Joe and Mary. John will be sadly missed by his loving wife Liz, son Sean, daughter Lisa, grandchildren Jack, Conor, Patrick and Dara, son-in-law Pat, Sean’s partner Brie, brothers Peter, Pat, Dominic and Joe, sister Maureen, brothers-in-law Mat and Nick, sisters-in-law Evelyn, Myra and Geraldine, nephews, nieces and neighbours.

John will repose at Thompson's Funeral Home, Chapel Hill, Mount Hawkins, Athy (R14 NX80) on Sunday evening (July 30th) from 5.00pm until the conclusion of the Rosary at 7.00pm. Removal from his home on Monday morning at 10.30am to arrive at St. Michael's Parish Church, Athy, for Requiem Mass at 11.00am, see livestream link http://www.parishofathy.ie/. Burial afterwards in St. Michael's (New) Cemetery, Athy.
