On Tuesday, August 12th, John passed peacefully at home after a short illness, surrounded by his adored family.

 

Beloved husband to Sheila (née Brosnan), devoted Dad to Deirdre, Seán, Muireann, Brian, and Bláthnaid.

 

Adored Grandad to Alyx, Eoghan, Zac, Robin, and Brady.

 

Dear brother to Margaret, Gerard, Mary and predeceased by his brothers Patrick and Conor.

 

Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by his family, daughters-in-law Eileen and Katy, son-in-law Gareth, Bláthnaid's partner Tim, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, kind neighbours, dear friends and pet dog, Indie.

Lying in repose in O'Keeffe's Funeral Home, Bowling Green, Mallow (P51 XE2T) on Wednesday evening from 5:30pm to 7:00pm, followed by Prayers.

 

Reception into St. Craebhnait's Church, Annakisha on Thursday morning for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, after which John will be laid to rest in the adjoining Cemetery.

 

The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks for the compassionate care and support provided by Dr. Manuel, and previously Dr. Casey, along with the team at Marymount Hospice, the Daffodil Nurses, healthcare assistants, community nurses, and public health nurses. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
