John Leahy

The death has taken place of John Leahy, The Heath Farm, Athy, County Kildare who passed away peacefully on January 25th, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Breeda, dear father of Denis, Deirdre and Diarmuid Doyle, Michael, Bríanne (Heydon), Kate (Guinan), John and Martin. Brother of Pat, Maureen (McTeague), Kathleen (Hennessy), Sheila (Hannigan) and Brigid (Parsons). John will be sadly missed by his loving wife, sons and daughters, brother and sisters and his 16 adored grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law , brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at The Heath Farm (R14H294) on Sunday (January 28th) from 2pm with the Rosary at 8pm. Removal from his home on Monday 29th January for Requiem Mass at 11am in St.Michael's Parish Church, Athy followed by burial afterwards in St. Michael's New Cemetery, Athy.
