The death has occurred of
John Lenihan
LENIHAN (Cork) On 15th July 2025, unexpectedly, but peacefully at home, JOHN, late of COPE. Dearest son of the late John and Margaret, much loved brother of Gerard, Jim, Paul, Sheila (Julia), Angela, Marie and the late Billy, David and Paddy Martin, dearest lifelong friend of Angela O’Donovan.
Sadly missed by his loving brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, brother-in-law Ger, sisters-in-law Catherine, Collette, Mary and Terry, relatives, neighbours and friends especially his friends in COPE.
Reposing at Coughlan’s Funeral Home, Shandon Street on Friday (18th July) from 10.00am, family in attendance from 4.00pm with Rosary Prayers at 5.00pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday (July 19th) at 10.00am in the Church of the Ascension, Gurranabraher. If you wish to view the Mass, click on https://www.gurranabraherparish.ie/webcam/ and follow link. Funeral afterwards to St. Michael’s Cemetery, Blackrock. Family flowers only. Donations, in lieu, if desired, to COPE Foundation. House private.
