John Leonard

John passed away peacefully in the wonderful care of the Orchard Ward, Portiuncula University Hospital, after an illness bravely borne, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Pat and Julia and his brother Bill.

John will be deeply missed by his sons David, Colm and Damien, his daughter Eilish, his wife Geraldine, his sisters Nell, Margaret and Geraldine, his brothers Adian and Padraig, adored grandchildren, Josh, Zara and Mia, daughters-in-law Rebecca and Tak, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family, a wide circle of friends and neighbours.

May His Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

John will repose in Grenham's Funeral Home, Ballinasloe (H53 HK15), on Tuesday, the 16th of December, from 5pm to 7pm. Private removal on Wednesday to St. Cuan’s Church, Ahascragh for Requiem Mass at 1pm, followed by burial in Ahascragh New Cemetery.
