John Lyons

Lyons (Labbamologga, Knockanevin) on April 6th 2021, peacefully, at home, after a long illness bravely borne, with his family, John (Ex Galtee) Labbamologga West. Beloved husband of Nora (nee Kiely), loving father of Thomas John, Donal, Julie, Mary (Walsh) and Bríd (O’Keffee). Sadly missed by his loving family, sons-in-law Dave, Martin & Shane, daughters-in-law Catherine, Denise and Marie, cherished grandchildren Emma, Rhiannon, Micheál, Liam, Tommy, Amy and Orla, sisters Margaret, Fay and Mary (Miller), brothers-in -law, sisters-in-law, carers, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May John rest in peace.

John’s funeral mass will be live streamed on https://www.mcnmedia.tv/camera/st-bartholomews-church at 2 p.m. (Thursday April 8th) in St.Bartholomew's Church, Kildorrery.  Burial afterwards in Labbamologga Cemetery.

John’s funeral cortège will travel via Marshalstown, Mitchelstown, Ballyarthur and the Lougha and Knockadea Cross on its way to the cemetery.

Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if desired, to St. Patrick’s Community Hospital, Fermoy.
