Peacefully after a long illness bravely borne surrounded by his loving wife & family & in the loving care of all at Cobh Community Hospital. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Pearson), much loved father of Richard, Maeve, Brian & Ian, cherished brother of Melinda & Anne & adored grandad of Ciarán, Ella, Sian, Áine, Faye, Caitlin, Caoimhe, Keira, Leon & Freddie. Sadly missed & lovingly remembered by his wife, daughter, sons, grandchildren, son in law John, daughter in law Rebecca, Brian’s partner Sarah, Ian’s partner Megan, brothers-in-law Jerry O’ Driscoll, Christy Keating & Martin Pearson, nephews, nieces, relatives & a wide circle of friends.

John will repose at Cahill’s Funeral Home Newtown Rd. Cobh P24Y383 on Sunday, September 10th, from 4.30pm with prayers at 6pm.Removal on Monday,September 11th, at 10.30am to St. Colman’s Cathedral for 11am Requiem Mass followed by burial in St. Colman’s Cemetery.

John’s family would like to acknowledge their heartfelt gratitude & thanks to all at Cobh Community Hospital for the wonderful care shown to their dad & their family throughout the last number of months & especially these past few days
