MACKEN(Rochestown & formerly of North Strand, Dublin): On September 9th, 2024, peacefully, in the presence of his family at the Mercy University Hospital JOHN (former General Manager of Roches Stores, Patrick Street, Cork), dearly beloved husband of Norma (née Cuneen), much loved dad of Niall, Claire, Brendan and Aideen, adored grandad of Hannah.

Lovingly remembered by his wife, children, granddaughter and family Áine, Christope, Karen and Myles, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the Temple Hill Funeral Home, Boreenmanna Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd; On Wednesday (September 11th) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.

Requiem Mass at 11.00am on Thursday ((September 12th) in St. Columba’s Church, Douglas which can be viewed

Funeral afterwards to St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Crosshaven.
