John (Macker) McDermott
John (Macker) McDermott of Bray, Co. Wicklow, died peacefully on Saturday, 28th February 2026 at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin. Remembered with so much love by his wife Philo, sons Paul and Derek, daughter Ruth, son-in-law Alan, grandchildren Shane, Caitlyn, Keeley, Lauren, Aaliyah and Cree, great-grandchildren Madison and Shane, siblings Bernie, Doey, Lily and Robert, sisters-in-law Catherine and Tricia, brothers-in-law Derek and Paul, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours.
Reposing in Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray on Tuesday (3rd March) from 4.00pm-6.00pm. Walking from the funeral home on Wednesday (4th March) at 9.40am to St. Peter’s Church, Little Bray, arriving for a Funeral Mass at 10.00am followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery.
