John Madden (Piper) - Gortnaglough, Ballinhassig (formerly of Henry Ford & Sons and Irish Vintage Society) (in his 92nd year), on August 31st 2025, gracefully and peacefully at home in the presence of his partner Kathleen (Cullinane), daughter Danielle, her partner Pat (O'Riordan), Danielle's daughter Courtney (O'Connell), sister Kathleen (Mullane), brother-in-law Dan (Lane) and sister-in-law Mary (Madden).

Sadly missed by his extended family and large circle of friends.

John will be lying in repose at Gabriel and O'Donovan's Funeral Home, Bandon (eircode P72WE20) on Tuesday from 6pm followed by prayers at 8pm.

Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 12 noon in the Church of the Most Holy Heart of Mary, Goggin's Hill (The Mountain Church) after which John will be laid to rest in the adjoining Cemetery.
