John Maher, Oldcourt, Templeorum Piltown, Co Kilkenny.

John passed away peacefully on Sunday, 15th March 2026 under the tender care of his loving family and the ICU team at University Hospital Waterford.

Predeceased by his beloved wife, Ann, his infant son, John Paul, his parents Neddie and Mary and his brother, William.

John will be dearly missed by his loving children, Gerard, Deirdre, Marie and Paul, his adored grandchildren Jack, Michael, Luke, Anna, Sophia, Olivia and Yuri, sons-in-law Maurice and Thomas, daughter-in-law, Svetlana, sisters Hannah Mae and Veronica, nephews, nieces, sister-in-law, Mary, extended family, neighbours and his wide circle of friends.

May his gentle soul Rest in Peace.

John will be reposing at Walsh's Funeral Home Carrick-on-Suir on Thursday 19th March from 6pm-7.30pm. Arriving at the Church of the Assumption Templeorum on Friday for funeral mass at 11am, followed by cremation at the Island Crematorium Ringaskiddy Co Cork at 3pm.
