The death has occurred of
John Martin
MARTIN (Cork) On 29th January 2023, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, JOHN, late of Murmont, Montenotte. Dearly beloved husband of Mary (nee Cohalan) and loving dad of Liam, Christine, Sean and Ailish (Connolly), brother of Noreen (Joy) and the late May-Rose (Jones), Mary (Lee) and Willie. Devoted grandad of Niall, Conor, Aisling, Cliona, Cian, Meaghan, Abby, Cillian and Aoife.
Sadly missed and fondly remembered by his loving family, sister, daughters-in-law Mary and Jo, son-in-law Liam, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Coughlan’s Funeral Home, Shandon Street on Tuesday (31st January) from 10.00am, family in attendance from 6.00pm with Rosary at 7.00pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday (1st February) at 12 noon in St. Joseph’s Church, Mayfield. If you wish to view the Mass click on https://www.churchservices.tv/stjosephsoyr and follow link. Funeral afterwards to St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Kilcully. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to the Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland, with sincere thanks.
