John Mathews

John (Cisco) Mathews, Mooretown Rd., Smarmore, Ardee, Co. Louth. October, 15th 2021.  Peacefully, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. 

John is predeceased by his parents Tina and Jackie, his brother Joe and niece Emma Boylan.  He will be sadly missed by his loving brothers, Paddy, Tony and Donal, his loving sisters, Marion, Geraldine, Bernadette and Joan, his aunt  Ann Powderly, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, his devoted long term careers and staff from the I.W.A. to whom grateful thanks is extended, relatives and friends.

John will repose in his home in Smarmore, Ardee (Eircode A92 A9F5) on Saturday (16th) from 4pm to 8pm. House Private on Sunday Morning Please. John's funeral cortège will leave from his residence on Sunday (17th) at 1:15pm en route to the St. Catherine's Church, Ballapousta, arriving for Funeral Mass at 1:30pm, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

In line with government guidelines church capacity is at 50%. Friends and neighbours are welcome to show their respects along the route in a safe and socially distanced manner.
