John Mc Carthy, Maghera, Lahinch, late of Dereen, Kilshanny and Chicago, 15th of December 2025, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family in his 90th year. Predeceased by his brothers Pat, Tom and Austin and sisters Mary and Nora. Sadly missed by his loving wife Brigid (née Curtin), daughters Mary, Anne and Patricia, sons-in-law Michael (Malty) McDonagh, Timmy Kelly and Michael Shannon, grandchildren Catherine, Eóin, Darragh, Shane, Elaine, Aisling, Róisín and Eimear, great-grandsons Jayden and Liam, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Lahinch on Wednesday the 17th of December 2025 from 5pm until 7pm with prayers at 5pm. Funeral mass will take place on Thursday the 18th of December at 12 noon, followed by burial in Callura Cemetery.
