John McAree

The death has occurred of John McAree, London and formally Nart, Smithborough, Co. Monaghan.

Dearly beloved husband of Helen and dear father to Sean, Marion, and Paul. A treasured grandfather to his 4 grandchildren. A much loved brother to Gerard, Tony, Betty and Nicholas.

John is predeceased by his parents Charles and Bridget, sisters Margaret and Monica, brothers James, Peter, Hugh, Eugene and Desmond.

John's funeral Mass will take place in London on the 14th January, 2025. John's remains will arrive at St Tierney's Church, Roslea on Wednesday 15th January, 2025 at approximately 5pm, travelling from Dublin, via Nart. John will rest in St Tierney's Church until memorial Mass on Friday 17th January, 2025 at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
