John McCABE

Retired Officer, Irish Army, McKee Barrracks. Peacefully, after a short illness in the loving care of his family and the staff of St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown.  Beloved husband of Rita. Sadly missed by his children, step-sisters Teresa and Dina, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, in-laws and partners, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing on Tuesday, Oct 4th, from 10am to 1pm and from 2pm to 5pm at Rom Massey & Sons Funeral Home, the Ballymun Civic Centre, Ballymun Road (next to Garda Station). Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning, Oct 5th, at 10am in the Church of The Holy Spirit, Sillogue Road, followed by burial in Glasnevin Cemetery (St. Paul’s Section). Family flowers only please.  Donations in lieu to St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15 or at www.sfh.ie.  House private.
