The death has occurred of
John McCarthy
McCarthy (Killala Gardens, Knocknaheeny, Cork), on May 19th 2025, peacefully at home; John (John Mc) (ex Docker and Stevedore), beloved husband and best friend of Noreen (née Freyne) and much loved father of John, Mark and Stephen. Sadly missed by his heartbroken wife, sons, grandsons Sinan and Brian, grandaughter Leyla, brother Stevie, daughter-in-law Nevin, nephews, nieces, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, relatives, great neighbours and friends.
Visitation at O’ Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge on Friday May 23rd from 4.00pm to 5.00pm, with prayers at 4.45pm. Requiem Mass in The Church of The Ascension, Gurranabraher on Saturday May 24th at 9.00am. Funeral afterwards to St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Kilcully.
