John McCarthy

John McCarthy, (Oakwood Manor, Kenmare and formerly of Roughty House, Kenmare, Co Kerry). (Retired Revenue Commissioner's Office, Kilkenny) On the 5th of March, 2026, John passed away peacefully in the exceptional care of the Nurses and Staff at Kenmare Community Nursing Unit and in the presence of his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Jerry and Nellie McCarthy and brother James. Sadly missed and dearly loved by his many cousins in Ireland and worldwide, neighbours and his many friends.

Reposing at O' Connor's Funeral Home, Kenmare on Sunday evening (March 8th) from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. Requiem Mass for John will take place on Monday morning (March 9th) at 10.30am in Holy Cross Church, Kenmare which will be live streamed on www.kenmareparish.ie followed by burial in the Old Kenmare Cemetery.
