In loving memory

John McCoy: 25th April 1964 - Friday 9th June 2023

 

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved John McCoy, on Friday 9th June in Christchurch, New Zealand. He was a loving husband to Louise, a devoted father to Christian and Luke, a beloved son of Patsy and Dymphna, a caring brother to Hubert (RIP), Joseph, Marie, Breda, Vinny, Aiden and Kathleen, and a cherished cousin and friend to many.

 

John McCoy was a beacon of light in our lives, bringing joy and laughter to all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be remembered for his kindness, his wit, his love of Ireland, his passion for sports and the profound impact he made on our hearts.

 

We find solace in the memories we shared and the legacy John McCoy leaves behind. May his soul find eternal rest, and may his spirit continue to guide and inspire us all.

 

Rest in Peace, dear John McCoy, You will be forever missed and forever in our hearts.

 

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in New Zealand on Friday 16th June 11am (Midnight 15th June - Irish time)

 

John's Ashes will sit in Finlay's Funeral Home Tierney Street on Friday July 7th from 4pm - 7pm.

Removal Saturday 8th to the Church of the Nativity of Our Lady, Ardee, arriving for Requiem Mass at 10am. Burial afterwards in Ballapousta Cemetery.
