John McCrossan

The peaceful death has taken place on Monday 20th January 2025 at Letterkenny University Hospital of John McCrossan, College Farm Road, Glencar, Letterkenny. Deeply missed by his loving wife Jean, sons Kevin, Eunan, Noel and Brian, daughters-in-law Moya and Maureen, 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, brothers Malachy (Scribley), Liam (Errity, Manorcunningham), Tony (Drumcairn, Manorcunningham), Conal (Derry) and sisters Kathleen Doherty (Derry) and Mary O’Brien (England), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.

John is predeceased by his daughter-in-law Nuala, brothers Patsy and Brendan and sisters Susana McCrossan, Bridget Nee and Grace Monaghan.

Rest in Peace

John’s remains will repose at The Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top, Letterkenny F92 XE35 on Tuesday 21st January from 5pm until 8pm. John’s remains will repose at his home on Wednesday 22nd January which will be private to family only please.

Funeral from there on Thursday 23rd January at 10.30am going to St. Eunan’s Cathedral, Letterkenny for 11am Requiem Mass which can be viewed live on www.churchservices.tv/letterkenny. Interment afterwards in Conwal Cemetery.
