McDermott, John (Corduff, Dublin 15, formerly of Kentstown, Co. Meath and late of engineering department in Dublin Port and Docks) February 21st., 2026. Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, in the excellent care of the staff at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown. Beloved husband of Ellen (Nellie) and much-loved father. Sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, brothers, sister, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Blanchardstown on Wednesday evening (February 25th) between 5 pm and 7 pm. Removal on Thursday morning (February 26th) to St. Patrick’s Church, Corduff arriving for Funeral Mass at 10 am followed by cremation in Glasnevin Crematorium. Family flowers only, please, donations if desired to Irish Cancer Society.
