McDermott, John (Rathgar, Dublin and Ballyshannon, Co Donegal) 30th September 2023, peacefully at home, beloved husband of Mary (Feely) and loving father of Johnny, Martha and Sarah; he will be sadly missed by his loving wife, son, daughters, Martha’s husband Patrick, Sarah’s partner Sam, sister Laura, sisters-in-law Martha and Anne, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

John will be reposing on Monday evening from 6pm-8pm at the Larry Massey Funeral Home, 100 Terenure Road North (Eircode: D6W CY94) Removal on Tuesday morning to St. Joseph’s Church, Terenure, arriving at 9.45am for 10am Mass. Funeral immediately afterwards to Mount Venus Cemetery, Rathfarnham. Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold's Cross.

John’s family would like to thank the Hospice Home Care Team for the wonderful care shown to John in recent weeks.
