John McElroy

McElroy John, (late of Drimnagh, Dublin 12), 12th September 2024; peacefully, surrounded by his loving family in the kind care of the staff of St. James’ Hospital. Predeceased by his sons John and Aidan, beloved husband and best friend of Peggy, loving dad of Paddy, Yvonne and Audrey, adored grandad of Celine, John, Daniel, Amy, Darren, Adam, Ben, Lucy and Max and great-grandad of Jamie, Danny, Frankie, Calum, Ava, Harry, Sonny, Bobby, Mia and Penny. John will be forever loved and very sadly missed by his loving wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, son-in-law Daragh, daughters-in-law Olive and Christine, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the Brian McElroy Funeral Home, Crumlin Village on Friday from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 10am in Church of Our Lady of Good Counsel, Mourne Road, Drimnagh followed by Cremation in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross for 11.30am.
