Liverpool – Baltray, Co. Louth – London.
Passed away on 8th December 2025, peacefully, in the tender care of the staff at St. Raphael’s Hospice, Morden. Retired Librarian Director, St. George’s University, Grenada.
John will be lovingly remembered by Ciaran, Maura, Róisín, Siobhán and Mairéad McGuirk; his adored grandchildren Malik Ben Amara, Lyana Ben Amara and Karolina Buchinger; his brother Brian McGuirk; extended family, neighbours and friends.
Predeceased by his beloved parents Mary and Thomas McGuirk, and by his dear brother Kieran McGuirk.
Requiem Mass will take place on Friday, 2nd January at 12 noon in St John Fisher Church, Morden, followed by burial thereafter.
May he rest in peace.
